They start to toss down flash bombs, which blow up tables and such. Squirtle tries to get them with a Water Gun, but they're out of range. It lifts off and they reveal the fact that they have Pikachu. They blow fire for a moment, then jump into the stand. Ash and his friends throw the spicy foods at them, and it lands in their mouths. Team Rocket cast off their disguises and say their motto. The wheels pop off and the Meowth balloon pops out of the roof. As he yells, a pair of gloved hands grab Pikachu.Īsh calms down, and looks over at the food stand. Ash samples one of the mustard covered meatballs, and steam is soon coming out of his nose. Staryu's Water Gun hoses them down and feel better. It doesn't take long for the effects of the spiciness to set in, and they are soon breathing fire. Brock digs in as does Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Pidgeotto. They give Ash the food and he walks over to where his friends and Pokémon are sitting. They plan to make the food really spicy and grab Pikachu when Ash is recovering. Unbeknownst to him, however, the stand is manned by Team Rocket. He approaches one of the stands and asks for three orders of everything. All the Pokémon hurry around to eat as does Ash. He remembers all the times the Pokémon disobeyed him, and agrees. They all do, but Misty and Brock stop Ash from sending out Charizard. Misty suggests that they send out their Pokémon to help celebrate as well. Moments later, everybody is chowing down. Everybody cheers, and Ash personally thanks Pikachu. Ash thanks everyone for supporting him and Professor Oak tells them that Ash finished in the top 16. Pallet Party Panic introduces the Orange Islands and the plot concerning the GS Ball, which is what season 2's plot (the beginning, anyway) is all about.Mystery Dungeon: Blazing, Stormy & Light Adventure Squad The beginning of Pallet Party Panic alludes to Ash competing in the league, but nothing more. Season 1's overall plot (competing in the Pokémon league) was wrapped up. If we're following the storylines, then Pallet Party Panic should go at the beginning of season 2.

Not meaning to bring up a dead topic, but even on Viz's official release of Pokemon, they have the episode "Friends to the End" as the "Final episode of season 1". Reply Īctually, some airings open to the season 2 theme, some to the season 1 theme (IIRC, both the original Canadian and US releases had the season 1 theme). Hi, just noticed the header states that the division between seasons of Pokémon is based on the openings of each episode, yet episode 083 opens with the theme from season 2.
